Booking Agent Multiuser Microsystems $54 #2327 is an easy way of keeping up with the personnel, materials, rentals, phone calls, dates, agency fees, deductions, and things that are generally associated with performers in the music business. It will allow you to search and sort by Venue name and Performance Date. It keeps track of tax info. It also has a calendar, Phone/Address filer, a Stop Watch to time long distance calls, a calculator, and more. CPA's Client Manger Sax, Paul $99 #20146 is a client tracking and billing system for CPAs. It features descriptions for programs in the following categories: Litigation support, Computer Assisted Instruction, Do-It-Yourself Software, Computer Aided Transcription, Time & Billing Systems, Law Firm Accounting, Integrated Legal Software, Legal Systems Software, Conflicts of Interest, Electronic Communication Networks, Computer Assisted Legal Research, Docket & Calendar, Legal Word Processors & Utilities, and Special Practice Software. ReSearch Kelly, Richard A. $50 #27129/1236 is a simple database that allows you to enter notes on evidence, research you're conducting, etc. You may enter such things as the source, page, and line numbers where each item you enter can be found. You may also enter an eleven-line summary of the item and indicate the subject category into which the item falls. A note's subject and its abbreviation are very useful in finding specific individual notes among hundreds or thousands. A prime use of this program is to create printouts of research data, sorted alphabetically by subject abbreviation. Another use is to keep tabs on documents and other evidence (who sent it, who received it, its current location, etc). Finally, it can be used to prepare a chronological report of a sequence of events which may have been entered at random into the data base. The program was formerly named Litigex. It stores unlimited names, phone numbers, and appointments. It includes commitments, callbacks, statements, revenues, expenses, collections, free-form data search, Rolodex features, label printing, graphics and reports. Support is provided for 10 different label sizes. It performs 3rd Class mail sorting. It offers phone dialing with many features. It contains a built-in proposal and invoice generator and can time and cost your activities as well as automatically create a summary or detail statements to reflect amount owed for activities or consultations. Case Manager standardizes your contact with clients and converts forgotten verbal commitments into a focused, daily appointments and callback list that nets you extra business. You can retrieve activities by word or phrase, a built in word processor is included for every record in the Rolodex file. It outputs to dBASE III and does mail-merge with Wordstar, Word, or WordPerfect. It includes 60 context-sensitive help screens. Requires 500K. CliTrak Hopkins, Bill $25 #3198 is an extensive database for cataloging clients by name, lawyer, court, kind of case, judge or a data to remember. You may print reports or export them for use with most word processors. Requires 640K. Die Cast Cintronics Developement $49 #27786 keeps track of die manufacturers, maintenance intervals, die production counts, and repairs. It also generates work orders, PM reports, history repair reports and a list of of die names with date purchased, manufacturer, address, phone and FAX numbers. Requires a hard disk. Only available on 1.44MB 3.5" disk. e-Tan Williamson, Brian W. $95 #2922 helps you manage tanning and other personal service businesses. It helps managers gather and keep track of client information, as well as having point-of-sale features for providing clients with their current status, for tracking sales of accessories, and for scheduling appointments. Requires a hard disk. EZTIME Restaurant Management Systems $104 #4310 assists in controlling daily labor cost and improving profitability through better tracking and forecasting of employee labor time requirements and costs. It provides detail as well as a summary cost analysis of a restaurant's labor utilizations. Farm Management Record Keeping Ratcliff, Dale L. $? #1583 is a record keeping program for farmers. Features include several different inventory programs (livestock, machinery livestock supplies, crops, crop supplies), the ability to enter receipts and expenses for the month (enter data on a daily, weekly or monthly basis), a loan report program, analysis programs, and more. Requires two drives. Fund-Raiser's Assistant 3.01 Roan, Robert Forrest $89 #27130/2471 [2 disks] is a fund-raising and list management program for political campaigns and clubs. It will keep track of activities, contributors, amounts, dates, and check numbers and prepare a contribution summary for financial reporting. Requires 640K, a hard disk, and a printer. Adios Invoicing Third Wave Systems $5 #2694 is an invoice writing program for Amway distributors and others. Four sales tax rate options are included (general, food, vitamins, and medicine), as well as tax-exempt products by individual distributor and more. Home Sales System 3.21 [HSS] Grumpyware ASP $50 #4154 (09-93 CD) automates the ordering process for Avon agents. It prints bills, order sheets, customer call lists and more. Horses Hopkins, Bill $25 #2924 is an extensive database for cataloging horses. Records can be sorted and printed by breed, breeder, owner, name, sire, and dam. 640K is required, and a hard disk is recommended. InfoLine Moseley, Jay $30 #3075 is a database management program for quick retrieval of referral information used by community service telephone hotlines. A hard disk is highly recommended. Insure Lee, Fred $35 #3899 helps keep track of medical expenses and insurance claim records. The program features convenient data entry for up to 200 transactions, search and list functions, instant summaries, printed records, and step by step instructions. Sample records are included. Kennel Management System ImageIllusions $29 #3981 keeps a record of customers and information concerning their animals. It prints admission and discharge forms. Requires 512K+ RAM, 720K+ drive disk, EGA/VGA. MDTS-R 4.6 (Member and Donation Tracking System) Tom&Cat Data Management Software $45 #1663 allows you to keep an up-to-date record of your club membership and donations. Information on members include name, address, home and work phone numbers, children's names, a postal code for printing mailing labels, amount and date of donation or dues, and a small memo field. Nineteen different reports are available, including a statement for members' tax records at the end of the year. Requires 384k and a hard disk. Chiro C & C Computer Support $249 #27131/4151 provides a database for patient information and handles appointment scheduling, billing, receipts, memorandums, letters and mailing labels. It also prints HCFA-1500 claim forms and statistical reports. Hard disk required. MED #1 MEDshare $395 #27131/1766 [3 disks] is a medical office management system. You can keep records of patients, doctors, and insurance companies. There are a number of reports and letters that can be easily read, maintained and printed. Patient accounts can be set up as regular or budget payments, or not to receive statements at all. Features include automatic insurance billing, use of the preprinted HCFA 1500 insurance forms, and optional use of custom statement forms. Other features include a receivables aging option, the ability to display the patient/account ledger,and multiple ICD-9 codes per CPT. You can use the patient recall function for generating letters. This version handles up to 100 patients, and HCFA-1500, Medicaid, and Medicare insurance forms are supported. A testimonial letter from a doctor accompanied the disks sent to us by MEDshare and claimed this software to be better than previously used software costing 10 times more. Requires 640k and a hard disk. (The documentation for MED1 tells you to "print the content of the MED1.DOC file and read it before going any further." The problem is there IS no MED1.DOC file. The documentation is contained in two files, MANUAL.PT1 and MANUAL.PT2, and they can be printed by using the MANUAL.BAT file. Also, the manual had Epson printer control codes embedded in it. If you do not have an Epson compatible printer, the manual may not print properly on your printer.) MED_ICD9 1.03 MEDshare $100 #4614 is a search utility for the AMA's ICD-9-CM diagnostic code table. Searches can be done using ICD-9 codes or with descriptive key words. Requires 640k and a hard disk. It meets the latest OBRA guidelines for resident assessment. It features MDS face sheet, MDS resident assessment, MDS quarterly review, RAP summary, resident individualized care plans, admissions/discharge tables, MDS care screening data set, MDS quarterly review screening resident care plans, and more Requires 512K and a hard disk. Features included large data entry fields, 11 different search fields, over 30 pre-defined reports and labels, export ability and up to 15 pages of notes and a tech sheet for each photograph or slide. Hard disk required. Political Researcher's Assistant Roan, Robert Forrest $35 #2473 is an opposition research and issues tracking program for political campaigns and clubs. Enter, change, print or display press clippings; and select clippings based on various criteria. Requires 640K, a hard disk, and a printer. Petroleum Industry Programs Hendrick, H.L. ASP $various #27434/3001 [2 disks] is a set of programs for use in the petroleum industry. ELOGANAL performs calculations involved in analyzing electric logs run on prospective oil and gas wells. GASCALC is a gas meter flow volume indicator. OILPROJ estimates oil production from new prospects where wells exist. BITS catalogs information about bits. OILDECL allows you to analyze declining production from producing oil wells and to make projections of future production, net cash flow, and discounted net cash flow. A hard disk is required. Police Records System MicroServices $125 #3077 helps police departments keep track of information about dispatch calls, warrants, arrests, criminal history, firearms and local residents. Requires 512K. Public Access 2.1 [PUB_ACCS] In/Quest ASP $89 #27871/4662 [2 disks] (10-93 CD) is a time/use/billing program for libraries or businesses, which rent computer time. The program can launch and track the use of any stand- alone text or graphics application or communication program from a time and cost controlled and monitored database. Customers may pay with cash or credit card, and a receipt is printed. Requires a 286 or better and 570K RAM. Sell More Software Droege Computing $100 #27465/3153 [3 disks] is a system for marketing, sales, and administrative activities for selling computer software. It helps track leads, analyze promotional activities, log complete contact histories, and store the next marketing step and contact date. It will monitor projects, bill for consulting time, and track trends in product support calls to plan for development needs. There is also mail merge for creating custom letters to clients, font tracking, invoicing, global replace for contacts, marketing steps, and much more. A hard disk and DOS 3.1+ is required.. This program is LAN compatible. Shareware Tracker 3.01 [SHARETRK] BlueCollar Software ASP $29 #20225 [2 disks]) (09-93 CD) is a business system for shareware authors. It keeps track of registered users, submissions, revenue and expenses, updates, tech support, and subscription sales. Shareware Tracker has an appointment calendar, a module to track important names and addresses, and a pop-up calculator. It mail-merges letters and labels. Pre-defined or user-defined reports can be viewed on screen or printed. Requires a hard drive. Sitter Micro Data Assist $350 #3503 is software for running a placement service for baby sitters and respite care. Features include sitter availability scheduling, unlimited job orders per client, invoicing, aged accounts receivables, statements, general ledger journal, mailing labels, up to 99 letters, and more. Requires 640K and a hard disk. PhotoArchivist II Cultural Software $74 #4311 is database for keeping track of photos. It suits any catalog numbering or subject classification scheme and records information on negatives, slides, rolls of film, videos, filmstrips, prints, etc. You can record information about the camera, lens, filter, shutter speed and film. Requires 512k. Slides & Photographs Orsillo, R.J. $29-$79 #4070 provides a fast and easy way for photographers to catalog their work. It lets you print a stock list and labels for slides/prints. SPC Professional #0662 is a Statistical Process Control program for a manufacturing environment - we think. The documentation jumps right into how to run the program without ever stating what the program is for, so the assumption must be that if you can't recognize its purpose from the name, you must not need it. StudiOrganizer PhotosoFormations $35 #27420/1383 [2 disks] is an order processing program for professional wedding and portrait photographers. It contains everything a professional photographer needs to track tasks, jobs and costs. A must for all pros. Success Line Video Store Success Line Software $204 #27133/2515 manages all aspects of video store operation from customer and inventory management to rentals, sales, reports, reservations, late fees, and various price categories. Features include instant tracking of a movie's last four renters, context-sensitive help, and fast file handling with full indexing. It prints labels, reports, receipts, and bar codes. Requires 640k, hard disk, and DOS 3+. Video Tape Control Micro Methods $95 #27133/2556 will automate a video tape rental business. It handles movie rentals and returns quickly and easily. Late fees are automatically calculated and you are alerted when fees are due. It will keep track of membership, film, and reservation information. Reservations can be made on tapes and items for more than a week in advance and you are reminded of the reservation when the tape is rented or returned. Requires 512k. It will store and retrieve customer profiles, keep a log of customer travel and travel plans, and assist in accounting for sales and commission totals over any specified period.
